Library Board Meeting

MINUTES of the special meeting of the Pitkin County Board of Trustees on September 4, 2013 at 11:45 am.

ROLL CALL:  Trustees present:  John Wilkinson, Barbara Smith, Barbara Reid, Judi Harris, Judy Wrigley, Jim Moran, and Austine Stitt,.  Also present were County Librarian Kathy Chandler, Assistant Director Jocelyn Durrance,  Brian Pettit, Public Works Director, and Jodi Smith, County Facilities Manager .

The architect selection committee discussed questions the members wanted to address during presentations from the architects who submitted proposals in response to the request for proposals put out by Pitkin County for the library expansion and remodel. Presentations were made in turn according to the following schedule:

12:45 to 1:45 Wheeler Architecture & Planning

2 to 3 Willis Pember Architects, Inc. & Humphries Poli Architects, Inc.

3:15 to 4:15 Snowdon & Hopkins Architects P.C.

4:30 to 5:30 Theodore K. Guy Associates P.C.
