Library Board Meeting

MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PITKIN COUNTY LIBRARY BOARD OF

TRUSTEES ON AUGUST 19, 2014.  The meeting was called to order at 9:03.

ROLL CALL:  Trustees in attendance:  Judy Wrigley, Barbara Smith, Jim Moran, Barbara Reid, Austine Stitt and Judi Harris.  Also in attendance:  County Librarian Kathy Chandler, Assistant County Librarian Jocelyn Durrance, Librarian Martha Durgy, Jodi Smith, Head of Pitkin County Facilities, and Pam Hopkins, architect.  Board President John Wilkinson was unable to attend.

PUBLIC COMMENT:  There was no public comment.

OLD BUSINESS:  Pam Hopkins reviewed plans for the proposed addition.  The Board discussed the location of drinking fountains and reviewed samples for metal siding, flooring and wall coverings for bathrooms.

ADJOURNMENT:  Jim Moran made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:18.  Judy Wrigley

seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
