MINUTES of the Special Meeting of the Pitkin County Library Board of Trustees onDecember 3, 2014

ROLL CALL:  Trustees present: Jim Moran, Barbara Reid, Barbara Smith, Austine Stitt, Judy Wrigley and John Wilkinson.  Judi Harris was absent.  County Librarian Kathy Chandler and Assistant County Librarian Jocelyn Durrance attended. Architect Pam Hopkins was also present.

PUBLIC COMMENT:  There was no public comment.

NEW BUSINESS:  The Board convened to review the color boards submitted by Traci Lesneski, the design consultant from MSR.  The Board discussed the color palettes submitted and offered assorted opinions.  The consensus was that Traci was on the right track.  Discussion followed about how to guide Traci so that her recommendations were compatible with the form and function of the Library.  Barbara Smith suggested that we urge the design team to come back to the Board with specific choices.

ADJOURNMENT:  On motion of Barbara Smith, seconded by Judy Wrigley, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn.
