MINUTES of the regular meeting of the Pitkin County Library Board of Trustees on March 13, 2019. The meeting was called to order at 12:04 p.m.
ROLL CALL: Trustees present: Barbara Reid, John Wilkinson, John Keleher, Elizabeth Nix and Judi Harris. Also present: Kathy Chandler and Jess Robinson.
PUBLIC COMMENT: Jess Robinson, assistant project manager for construction of the city office building, gave a rough schedule for upcoming work on the project.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: A motion was made by Judi Harris and seconded by Barbara Reid to approve the amended minutes of the January meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
TRUSTEE COMMENTS: Barbara Reid commented on the success of the film series at the Library.
The Library will pursue a partnership with the Aspen Writers Foundation.
LIBRARIAN’S REPORT: A motion was made by John Keleher and seconded by Judi Harris to approve on second reading policy 8.12, Computers and Computer Networks. The motion passed unanimously.
John Wilkinson reported on his trip to the ALA meeting in Washington, D. C. He met with staff members of several Representatives and Senators concerning issues important to Colorado libraries.

ADJOURNMENT: AT 1:09 John Keleher made a motion to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Barbara Reid and passed unanimously.
