Library Board Minutes

Next Meeting:  September 30, 2015 Noon Building Maintenance Dept.

MINUTES of the special meeting of the Pitkin County Library Board of Trustees on September 9, 2015.  The meeting was called to order at noon.

ROLL CALL:  Trustees present:  Barbara Reid, Judy Wrigley, Austine Stitt, and Barbara Smith.  Trustee John Keleher attended the first part of the meeting.  Also attending were County Librarian Kathy Chandler, Owner’s Representative Dave Detwiler, and library staff, Martha Durgy and Susan Keenan.

PUBLIC COMMENT:  There was no public comment.

The Board reviewed photos of proposed furniture selections for the renovated library.  They discussed their vision and preferences for furnishings.  This was to advise Susan Keenan and Kathy Chandler in preparation for their trip to MSR in Minneapolis to narrow the selection.

ADJOURNMENT:  The meeting adjourned when Kathy Chandler had to leave for a meeting with the design team.
