Next Meeting:  October 7, 2015 Noon Old Power House

MINUTES of the meeting of the Pitkin County Board of Trustees on September 30, 2015.  The meeting was called to order at 12:04.

ROLL CALL:  Trustees present:  Barbara Reid, Austine Stitt, John Keleher, Barbara Smith, and Judi Harris.  John Wilkinson and Judy Wrigley were absent.  Library staff present were County Librarian Kathy Chandler, Susan Keenan and Martha Durgy.  Also present were County Facilities Manager Jodi Smith, Owner’s Representative David Detwiler and County Manager Jon Peacock.

PUBLIC COMMENT:  There was no public comment.

OLD BUSINESS:  By teleconference, Leanne Larson, Traci Lesneski, and Veronica McCracken of MSR reviewed the proposed furniture packet.  The presentation covered the furniture choices for each area of the library and was well received by Board members.

David Detwiler gave an update of the budget for the addition and remodel project.

A motion was made by Barbara Smith and seconded by Austine Stitt to authorize the County Commissioners to increase the construction contract with FCI by $2,085,385.00.  The motion passed unanimously.

ADJOURNMENT:  A motion was made by Austine Stitt and seconded by Judi Harris to adjourn the meeting at 2:10.  The motion passed unanimously.
