Schedule a Training

Staff are available to assist with the basics of the Library Lab's tools, and training is required for safety and proper use of the 3D printer and laser cutter. Trainings are 1-1.5 hours long depending on questions and experience.

3D Printer

Get hands-on with 3D printing! Learn how to design and print models using our state-of-the-art 3D printers and materials. Users must be 13+.

Lulzbot

Lulzbot is one type of 3D printer we have available for patron use at the library. At the moment this 3D printer is unavailable but stay tuned for exciting news regarding future access!

Tinkercad

Tinkercad is a basic design software. It is great for beginners new to designing for 3D printing. Start with their free design lessons, then bring in your design to print using one of our 3D printers.

Fusion 360

Fusion 360 is a more advanced design software. Create elaborate manufactured designs and print them here at the library on one of our 3D printers! For more basic design software, try Tinkercad.

My Mini Factory

My Mini Factory has numerous free designs ready to download and 3D print. If this is your first time printing 3D, My Mini Factory is a great place to start. If you are ready to try designing your own 3D print, take a look at Tinkercad.

Thingiverse

Thingiverse provides 3D designs for useful "things" needed in everyday life. Downloadable designs include key holders, hinges, tea dispensers, garden plant tags, and more! Search fun and useful designs and print them on one of our 3D printers.

Laser Cutter

The laser cutter allows users to cut, etch, and engrave select materials. Perfect for creating custom designs, this tool opens up endless possibilities. Users must be 18+.
