Teen Advisory Board (T.A.B.)

What is the Teen Advisory Board?

A group of teens who help decide which books, movies, and games will be added to the library and what programs will be offered. It is open to students in grades 7-12.

Expectations:

  • Commit to a minimum of one hour each month
  • Participate in library programs and volunteer time to help make sure teen events run smoothly
  • Act as ambassadors for the library

Benefits:

  • Influence selection of books, materials, and programming that focus on young adults
  • Be among the first to access new young adult materials
  • National Honor Society/Community Service hours
  • Free food at TAB meetings

T.A.B. Application

Schedule for T.A.B. 

The Teen Advisory Board will be meeting once a month, every month.

These events include activities geared for grades 7-12.

T.A.B. meetings take place the following Wednesdays in 2024 from 4:30-5:30:

  • March 6
  • April 3
  • May 1
  • June 5
  • July 3
  • August 7
  • September 4
  • October 2
  • November 6
  • December 4

These meetings are for planning events and purchasing materials for the collection.
