Gifted pianist and veteran performer Amanda Gessler provides a free concert of compositions by Brahms and Beethoven. We are proud to present this skilled artist in the inaugural performance of the library’s new piano. 

As a first prize winner of the Bradshaw and Buono International Piano Competition, Amanda Gessler made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2014. She has performed widely throughout the US and Europe and has been broadcast on Colorado Public Radio and Irish National Television. Her teachers include Menahem Pressler, John O'Conor and Richard Goode. She holds degrees in piano performance from Lawrence University and Indiana University.
