The Pitkin County Library is not responsible for personal property left on Library premises, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Patrons are responsible for keeping their belongings with them at all times.
Items that appear to be lost or accidentally left behind will be held in the Library’s Lost and Found for 30 days. Items that appear to be intentionally abandoned, left in violation of Library rules, or that create a safety, sanitation, access, or operational concern may be held for 48 hours before being discarded, donated, recycled, or otherwise disposed of at the Library’s discretion.
The Library assumes no liability for lost, stolen, damaged, abandoned, or unclaimed property.
