Banned Books Book Club: To Kill a Mockingbird

For April's Banned Books Book Club we are reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. This book was banned and challenged for racial slurs and their negative effect on students. It was also banned and challenged for featuring a “white savior” character, and its perception of the Black experience (Learn more at Banned Books Week and American Library Association).
