Library Concert Series: Francisco Vila, cello

As part of Pitkin County Library's concert series, we are pleased to present  Francisco Vila. Vila is a celebrated cellist who has performed as a soloist and with prominent orchestras across Europe, and North and South America. Mr. Vila studied with the great János Starker at Indiana University. He founded and directs the International Music Festival of Esmeraldas in his hometown in Ecuador, which brings gifted young musicians from around Central and South America to attend concerts and master classes with some of the world's most prominent artists.
