Aspen Science Center comes to the library! An afternoon of activities for children, teens, and families in the Dunaway Community Room. 

2:00-3:00pm: Science Fun for All Ages

Kids of all ages are invited to join the Aspen Science Center for STEM investigations and creative engineering challenges. The ASC educators will have a variety of activities and creative projects that will be sure to inspire future engineers, astronauts and scientists! Each child will construct and take home their very own marble maze! Children of all ages, and their parents and caregivers, are welcome.

3:30-4:30pm: STEAM for Teens & Tweens

Teens and tweens are invited to explore STEM and STEAM challenges. Kids can create their own structures with our amazing Zomes builders and join into creative group engineering challenges. Our educators and summer intern educators will be on hand for guidance and inspiration. Outside we will be mixing up and making gigantic bubbles! 

5:00-6:30pm: Family STEM Night

Families (with children of any age) will have the opportunity to enjoy STEM activities and will join together for group challenges designed by the ASC and NASA. Learn about the forms of matter while playing with a gigantic parachute! Build and test a lunar craft transporting marshmallow astronauts! We hope you will join us for an evening program that is sure to entertain and inspire!
