Pitkin County Library hosts Raising A Reader's Little Red Bag Club, Bolsitas Rojas, for caregivers and their 0 to 5-year-old children who are not enrolled in school. This program occurs during the school year on Fridays at 10:30 am.
Educators from Raising a Reader will engage parents and children in a routine of book sharing to foster brain development, parent-child bonding, and offer early literacy skills to children who may not be enrolled in preschool.
Because this program is for caregivers and their young children, it is most effective to participate together.
To ensure enough supplies, please register with Andrea Suarez at andrea@rar4kids.org.
