Learn about Social Security benefits, the eligibility requirements, the application process, and the resource and planning tools available.
Join us via Zoom for an information-filled program that will provide an overview of the programs and services administered by Social Security. The presentation will cover:
- Eligibility requirements to receive benefits
- How your benefits are calculated
- The application process
- Medicare enrollment, and
- Online services available at SocialSecurity.gov.
There will also be time for question and answers at the end of the presentation. This presentation will be led by Ivy Heuton, Public Affairs Specialist for the Social Security Administration in Colorado and southern Wyoming.
Ivy Heuton has been with Social Security Administration for over 12 years. As a Technical Expert in the field she gained an in-depth knowledge of SSA programs and policy. She is now serving as a Public Affairs Specialist responsible for media relations, outreach projects, and specializing in educational programs to the public in the Denver and Seattle Regions.
