Our next film is Eighth Grade (2018). We will also be discussing and picking our films for the next few months in this meeting so please attend, if you're able. This film is available to you with your library card on Kanopy and we have a copy at the library as well if you would prefer to watch it on DVD.
I also suggest, if you are able, checking out some of Bo Burnham's (the screenwriter and director of Eighth Grade) other work, specifically Inside on Netflix. The album is available on Spotify and Apple Music if you do not have Netflix. There is also a playlist on Youtube, linked here. This is not at all necessary, but if the absurdity of social media and growing up in the digital age interests you, it might be worth checking out.
