- Library Programs Updates include a Bike Maintenance workshop which was a huge success and is just the first in a planned series, the Library Concert series, The Art of Melting Conflict program (which was moved from the 20th to the 29th of August), and Supreme Court Cases Explained, which is offered to patrons to learn about federal and state court systems.
- The library was closed for the Pitkin County Employee Recognition Picnic so all staff could attend.

A phone number already in use was switched to a mobile device that allows the assigned Staff in Charge to move around the library to deal with any issues rather than be tied to a desk. And the Library temp employee hired for the records retention project has completed the project per CORA and County requirements as of August 12th.
