The Pitkin County Library (Library) strives to provide a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for all Library users. The Library supports free and equal access to library services while reserving the right to enforce reasonable rules and guidelines as part of our effort to provide a secure and safe environment. The Library reserves the right to remove any person and restrict library privileges of any person whose conduct is deemed by Library staff to violate this Patron Behavior Policy. Recurring offenses may elevate the penalty.
Every month, we discuss chosen contents (book, movie, magazine, Ted Talk...) with a financial flavor. Please call or sign up if you plan to attend.

The Nonfiction Book Club meets at the Pitkin County Library to discuss a new, challenging, and interesting book each month. We are always welcoming new members. If you would like to join the club please call the library at 970-429-1900 or email Bradley Peate at bradley.peate@pitkincounty.com.
Hang out, get creative, and much more at the Library's Teen Lounge! This welcoming space was created just for teens and is open for you to collaborate, make new friends, read, and enjoy all the Library has to offer. From watching movies to playing music to snacking—everything is free to use!
