Sewing Workshops

Local resident Jennifer Hanson is a sewing expert! Join Jennifer for various sewing workshops and learn new sewing skills. Workshops are by age and/or activity and take place in the Library Lab.

If you don't finish a project during the workshop, don't worry! We have sewing machines available for check out.

Fabric, Needles, and Tools: learn about fabrics, needles, and additional tools to help complete your sewing projects.

Buttons and Zippers: learn how to add buttons and zippers using the sewing machine and hand sewing.

Sewing 202 Workshops

In these slightly more advanced workshops, participants will take on more challenging projects. Participants are expected to know the basics of using a sewing machine.
