The Pitkin County Library has some really cool events lined up for teens in 2024. The following events are not part of ongoing programming, so you do not want to miss them! 

These programs are offered to ages 12-17.

Sewing Workshop: Bookmarks

Wednesday, July 31, at 4:30pm in the Library Lab.

Learn to sew bookmarks with seamstress, Jennifer Hanson, in the Library Lab. We will provide fun fabrics and designs for you!

Resume, Scholarship, and College Application Assistance

Wednesday, August 28, at 4:30pm in the Hotpick Meeting Room.

Are you looking to build a strong resume or application for a job, scholarship, or college? Let a librarian help you out! You can sign up in person at the event to get 10 minutes of your draft reviewed. Enjoy snacks and drinks awaiting your turn. 

Murder Mystery at the Library

Wednesday, October 23, at 4:30pm in the Dunaway Community Room.

Join us at the the library as we play Murderous Decisions: Murder at the Library! 

Game Description: Romance writer Lady Cattersley has been murdered at Cattersley Manor, but whodunit? There's a body in the library, a secret passageway in the bookcase, and maybe even a ghost in the parlour... so gather your friends for a twisty murder mystery where your choices matter!
